GeoBooks: Black Students. Middle Class Teachers. by Juwanza Kunjufu

Reviewed By Courtney Williams

In Black Students. Middle Class Teachers., Jawanza Konjufu calls attention to the current crisis in education by providing research, insight, and statistics to demonstrate that change needs to manifest.   His scope ranges from training coaches instead of simply referral agents, custodians, instructors, and teachers to the fact that white women will constitute 83% of elementary school teachers in the near future.

Why are African American students being dis-serviced? This may be primarily based on ineffective teaching and host of other variables.

In summary this work is a great tool for teachers, parents, and administrators alike.

I'll give the book 4 GeoGlobes.
